Introducing Dear Hummingbird
An advice column to navigate your journey through Chartered Accountancy
Dear CA aspirant,
Welcome to The Hummingbird community!
Increasingly complex career trajectories, lack of trusted guidance, shifting perspectives about the world and anxiety about the future can make pursuing a professional course an extremely confusing time for even the most emotionally stable student.
We all could use some guidance occasionally, but where can you find wise, non-judgemental advice?
Maybe through a syndicated advice column.
We are a bunch of CA aspirants who have tread the same path as you. The perplexities of articleship, the confusion to whether join industrial training, whether to pursue additional courses, time management, editing resume, how to build boundaries with your manager and so much more.
Send us your questions on any subject related to CA. Write to us anonymously or with your name and we will respond as a friend, philosopher and guide - all in one.
Fill out the Google form and be rest assured that your question is safe with us. You can also write to us on dearhummingbird1@gmail.com
You are allowed to be vulnerable. Don’t judge your questions, ask silly questions, be stupid and pour your heart out. You wouldn’t be judged.
There’s only one caveat. We will be restraining ourselves from recommendations for classes because this is an unsponsored intiative and we don’t want you to feel we are being biased. Like any other advice column, our advice is individualistic and does not guarantee anything - friendly- like we said.
Let's create a safe space to share candid advice with no fluff.
Warmly,
Hummingbird
