The influencer economy is running on steroids. Brands are spending millions on advertising, there are new job positions for copywriters and almost everyone is a Digital Creator now.
I am strictly against platform amalgamation and spamming. What I post on LinkedIn is miles away from what I post on Instagram. Though I do use platforms for marketing this newsletter, what I write here is exclusive.
When I started this newsletter, it was out of passion and love for reading and all this while I have believed in a no filter, candid approach for all my writings, which equally applies to my interviews as well. I am not an Influencer, I am just another person who likes writing and recommending what I think can make a tangible impact on our lifestyle or else on how we think.
I don’t recommend something unless I have read/listened to it in full. My love for reading/writing developed over the past couple of years but my passion for cooking has been perennial. (Check my Instagram)
I am highly conscious of what I put in my body, more and more each day, because apparently every brand is a clean and healthy label now. I have started reading labels of every product I use, I advise my friends on which products claim to be no sugar but are filled with it and why Quaker Oats is probably not the healthiest choice for breakfast. All of it is based on research and first-hand product trials.
So, here’s the announcement:
With every newsletter issue I am going to do a product review of the clean & sustainable brands I am partnering with. I assure you that I won’t put up cringe videos saying ‘Hi guys, try this’. It is going to be an unbiased review of what the product is, how did I use it (brace yourself for some quick recipes) and a small review.
It will always be at the end of the newsletter so no hindrance to the reading experience. It will always be brands that I will also use in the long run or I currently use so, only genuine recommendations.
Consumerism is the last thing I want to promote. This is not to influence your choices, you are free to make your own decisions. This is to understand nutrition better and make sustainable choices.
I wanted to be transparent.
