I resumed working again this year and days feel usually faster than what it was last year. Surprisingly this is the first every year after school where I have not diligently planned each of my days, my planner keeps cursing me sitting in a corner. I realized I have barely gotten the time to reflect and be more empathetic towards what all I could possibly do rather than pushing myself to keep running on the productivity treadmill.
Here is a small list of things I find solace in. Gotta save time for myself.

Monster by The Revivalists
Men Amongst Mountains is one of my fav. albums of all time and the title of this issue is from this song. Listen to it yourself!
Object Arium by Mysticeti
After reading Mark Mindownik books, I say yes to every story that’s constructed on objects.
Lies Our Mothers Told Us by Nilanjana Bhowmick
I finished reading it last week. Another sad story on the lives of women in India - purely anecdotal and data-driven.
I am eating a lot of berries
and peanut butter
Also, went to an oil painting class after a long time
Except the layers being smoother to create because of oil, everything else remains the same (oh, it takes a week to dry fully)
The Levers That Money Can’t Pull on More to That
Trying to read this long-form essay on money to understand the wroth of money through a lens of emotion (no, not the psychology of money kind)
All this thought on reflection, brewed from this quote in James Clear’s newsletter
3-2-1: Focus, self care, and making better decisions
The Hall of Content Mirrors by Luke Burgis
Validating my disdain on cringe-content through reading newsletters like this
Even the disciplined and distant admiration
For thousands who obviously want nothing
Becomes just a dowdy illness. These have their moderate success;
They exist in the vanishing hour.
40-Mind Expanding Concepts on The Prism
Meandering slowly through this list and researching some concepts ( I really enjoyed reading the last list as well)
Writing this newsletter, while listening to this new artist I found
Okay my planner is calling me
